Our Story
Just Us 2 was born from the heart of a mother who wanted more- for her children, and for others. I understood the deep desire to find a safe, loving, and inspiring place where children could thrive. I didn't want just babysitting; i wanted a purpose-filled care that nurtures the whole child- mind, body and heart. Every corner of Just Us 2 reflects intention- from the books we read, to the food we serve, to the ways we celebrate each child's uniqueness. This isn't just my business- its my calling and we are honored to grow along side you family.

Meet the Owner
Angela Foster
Angela Foster’s journey in early childhood education began in 1990, shortly after she completed her military service. Inspired by her son’s growth at Head Start, she began volunteering at the program where he attended. Her passion quickly grew into a purpose. Over the years, she served in both nonprofit and for-profit organizations—including the St. Louis and Arizona Crisis Nurseries—where she held leadership roles as a staff and volunteer supervisor.
In 2000, Angela planted the seeds of her own dream and opened Just Us 2 right from her home, with her then 7-year-old daughter by her side. Her mission was simple: to create a safe, nurturing, and educational space where children could thrive.
Her vision expanded with the opening of two centers in University City in 2009, followed by another in St. Peters in 2012. She served families faithfully until 2019, when the COVID-19 pandemic brought an unexpected pause. But in true Angela Foster fashion, she never stopped believing. In 2024, she reopened Just Us 2 in its current South St. Louis location—stronger and more committed than ever.
Angela is a respected figure in the community—a woman of integrity, compassion, and resilience. She continues to pour into families, children, and staff, always leading with heart and purpose.
